To improve your experience and keep the rally going, we collect:

  • Profile Information: Nickname, email, and avatar photo.
  • Sports Data: Your playing hand (right-handed/left-handed), type of backhand, and approximate level. This helps us tailor content in the Learning section to your game.
  • Platform Activity: Posts, comments, and likes within Court Central, as well as lessons you upload or engage with.

3. Use of Information

We do not—and will never—sell your personal data to third parties. We use your information strictly to:

  • Provide access to your personal Locker Room.
  • Facilitate connections between players and coaches in the Academy section.
  • Moderate the content of the Court Central forum to maintain a safe and respectful environment.

4. Data Security & Retention

Your passwords are securely encrypted (hashed) in our database. No one on the Tennis Vertex team has access to them. We retain your profile data only for as long as your account remains active.

5. Your Rights (GDPR)

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you are in full control of your data. You have the right to:

  • Access and Rectify: Update your profile and sports data at any time from your Locker Room.
  • The Right to be Forgotten: You can permanently delete your account directly from your settings. If you choose to do so, your personal data (email, password, profile details) will be permanently erased from our systems.

6. Cookies & External Services

We keep our courts clean: we do not use tracking or advertising cookies. We rely strictly on essential local storage to keep your session active and remember your interface preferences (like Dark Mode). For our video lessons, we use YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode.
